Horseshoe Indianapolis Race 8 - Race 8 - Mdn Special Weight
SILVER STAR (4) was beaten for speed on debut last start then worked home honestly to finish fourth over 1609m at this track (Turf). Has ability and looks sure to measure up. SIR CADEN (1) is a first-starter by Connect from Gaelic Gold who has produced one to win at the elite level. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Jumps from a favourable gate and any market lead would add to the confidence. GOLD ON BLACK (11) got a long way back when 25 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1408m at Saratoga last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth on debut at Saratoga the run before. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a major role. CLEVER HEIST (10) didn't do a lot on debut five-and-a-half weeks ago, finishing 19 lengths from the winner in 12th over 1308m at Kentucky (Turf). Open to plenty of improvement. Can improve. Something for the Multiples: WHITBURN (6)

Was well in the market at debut, 3rd in a small field at Presque Isle Downs on September 7 over 1609m, 6 len behind Rainonthescarecrow with 54.5kg at $4.60. Doesn't need to improve a great deal to be opening his account.
