Horseshoe Indianapolis Race 6 - Race 6 - Mdn Special Weight
LUCERRA (13) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when third at Saratoga (Dirt) over 1308m. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Among the leading chances. CANDY NOVEL (1) could only manage eighth on debut then improved last start but found one better over 1609m at Kentucky, beaten 3.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Has the class to take this out. HAVE HOPE (3) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when seventh over 1710m at Saratoga Inner Turf six weeks ago after being prominent at the turn. Faces an easier assignment so she will be hard to beat. GOLDEN LATTE (5) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in third over 1509m at this track (Turf). Has ability and worth including.

Was well in the market at debut, held ground to the line 2nd of 8 at Presque Isle Downs on August 24 over 1106m, 2.5 len behind Chef's Kiss with 54.5kg at $4.90. Doesn't need to improve a great deal to be opening her account.
