POETIC WORDS (2) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1609m at Mahoning Valley, beaten 2.25 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. THE EXODUS TWIST (4) was prominent until they straightened last time but weakened to finish fifth over 1006m at Turfway Park (Synthetic). This offers him a great chance of breaking through. DEFLECTED (6) is a four-year-old gelding on debut from the stable of William Walden. By Blame from Focused. Expect a bold run. GOTTA JET (5) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Mahoning Valley but raced below expectations last time over 1308m at Turfway Park (Synthetic), finishing ninth and beaten 22 lengths. Nicely placed to make amends.
