Slender preference goes the way of ASHEYRA (1) who finished an excellent second at Ascot behind a subsequent G3 winner before going on to place third at Newcastle (1200m) last time. Roger Varian has his team in brilliant form at present and she can put her experience to good use. FAITH IN FLORENCE (2) filled the runner-up spot behind a next time out scorer at Yarmouth last start and ought to be firmly involved based on the ratings alone. Karl Burke's newcomer GRATEFUL SPIRIT (3) requires plenty of respect. SHOW AND TELL (4) is next best.
