TEMPESTUOUS (3) good type who went under narrowly on debut in the G3 Breeders' Plate on October 5, 2024, and resumes a gelding. His two subsequent runs had merit behind O'Ole and Gallo Nero in stronger company. Back with the two trials and can overcome the awkward gate. WRITTEN DOLL (4) has finished runner-up at his two starts back and doesn't have to improve much to win this. Went out quickly and gripped on late for a close second over 1200m at Illawarra Grange. Stalks the speed and will take holding out. HARRYBEGOOD (8) resumes. Gelded over the break and James McDonald takes the reins from the right draw. Showed enough in the first prep and fitted with the two searching trials in readiness for this. Big market watch. DRAGON BLOOD (6) three-year-old Pinatubo colt from Obsidian Dragon on debut for the Archibald camp. Looks primed for this with four recent trials and can run a race from the good draw.
