ROBOT LUCKY STAR (8) is the horse to beat after resuming with a CL4 win at this track, beating Forerunner by half a length as favourite. He rises to CL3, but the weight relief, Purton staying aboard and favourable map all suggest he can bring up back-to-back wins. WUKONG JEWELLERY (10) looks the main danger after finishing third, beaten half a length, in a similar race at this venue and he had also been beaten only a neck at Sha Tin before that. Laid the foundations last start and with that run under his belt, he can go a couple better. ACE CHAMPION (5) returned with a determined head win over Tycoon Resources at this track and has a sound record over this distance, though barrier 12 makes the task less straightforward. SYMBOL OF STRENGTH (4) was only just over a length away when fifth first-up and has the recent form tie through WUKONG JEWELLERY, so he remains a genuine winning chance if he can turn that closing effort into a sharper finish.
