Hanshin Race 3 - Maiden Race
WAZAOGI (14) turned in a good effort on debut four months ago when 1.5 lengths away in third at Kyoto Dirt over 1800m. Has not been to the races since that outing. Wound up strongly at debut run and should be in the finish again. AMERICAN ISM (6) is back after a break of three months. At the last run before the layoff he finished seventh over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Bold showing expected. PIENA ORCA (7) was beaten 1.75 lengths into third at Kyoto Dirt two starts ago then finished 3 lengths from the winner in fifth last time at Kyoto Dirt. Will drift back but wind up late. Shapes well and is among the main hopes. SUNRISE JUDGE (1) is a three-year-old colt who lines up for the first time. From a very strong family, being by Danon Kingly from Saimon Dolce. Importantly has a nice gate and looks certain to be competitive.
