HILLBILLY BOB (5) was below his best last time when sixth over 1710m at Gulfstream Park Turf (Turf), beaten 7 lengths. Has started four times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. SWAMP FOX (2) won his maiden over this course and distance last start, getting the verdict by 0.8 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he is a solid top-three hope. LOMAX (3) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 9 lengths, over 1710m here last time. One of the main contenders. EXCUSES (8) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing fifth last time out over 1710m at this track. Rajiv Maragh stays on and although yet to win has been in the money on two occasions. Among the top-three hopes.
