PUBLIC DEFENDER (9) settled well back last start and never threatened when 5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1609m in the G3 Honey Fox Stakes at Gulfstream Park Turf (Turf). Will enjoy a drop in class so she is one of the main contenders. INDY BAY (4) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 8 lengths, over 1308m in the G3 Hurricane Bertie Stakes at this track (Dirt). First try at the trip but she strips fitter and is sure to be about the mark. RUNAWAY DIVA (1) finished fourth when first-up from a spell last start over 1609m in Listed grade at Colonial Downs (Dirt) after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will give backers a sight. RIDING PRETTY (6) turned things around last start and landed the prize by 1.5 lengths over 1673m at Gulfstream Park All Weather (Synthetic). Nicely placed to keep the ball rolling.
