CARCONE (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when fifth in a 1106m contest at this track four weeks ago. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LAZIO (6) improved last time out, finishing 1.3 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1006m at this track. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. SMOKIN JACK FLASH (1) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 1006m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
