GOSGER (1) is a handy type who resumes after a break of four months. At his last appearance he finished sixth over 1811m in the G2 Clark Handicap at Churchill Downs (Dirt), beaten 5.5 lengths. Goes well when fresh including a win and two minor placings. Expected to be in the finish with the blinkers removed. FORGED STEEL (3) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 6 lengths over 1646m at Tampa Bay Downs (Dirt). Steps up a level but he is worth serious consideration. NAVAJO WARRIOR (2) has three wins and one placing from five races this preparation. Found a couple better last start at Oaklawn Park (Dirt) over 1710m after being handy all the way. Faces an easier assignment so he is sure to be prominent. EXCITE (6) lines up for the first time since November 23.
