BLINDFIRE (7) brings the strongest recent profile after a BM80 win at Turffontein Inside, where she beat Major Arcana by a neck, and that followed a solid BM74 second at Vaal behind Elusive Red. The freshen-up is no concern on the evidence supplied and her one win and four placings from ten starts at around 1200m give her enough grounding for this. INNERBLOOM (5) has been close up in two FM BM81 runs, carries 60kg comfortably and has three wins from nine starts at the distance, with Calvin Habib back aboard after winning twice on her. SCANDALIZE (2) is race-fit third-up, has placed at both runs this campaign and is proven over 1200m, so the apprentice claim gives her a clear chance to turn those thirds into a win.
