PROPHET (10) is the obvious danger after beating TRAFALGAR SQUARE last start, and he is third-up with a strong distance record, so the win was no one-off. BLESS ME FRED (9) was also close in that same Greyville Aw race, starting firming favourite and finishing third, and his track-and-trip credentials keep him right in the winning argument. CHAMPAGNE MAC (2) beat TRAFALGAR SQUARE at Scottsville two runs back and was only beaten a length and a half as favourite in a BM70 at this track last start, though his 1000m record makes him more of a genuine place hope than a runner to lean on too heavily.
