Drawn to enjoy a cosy run from an inside alley. COWBOY COUNTRY (6) finished 5.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1200m at Scottsville a month ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Expecting a bold showing. THE MARQUEE (2) started at $4.50 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 5 lengths at Scottsville over 1200m. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to turn things around. GRAND APPEAL (13) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1400m at this track, beaten just 0.9 lengths. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
