Close to a win and worth noting both career wins have been this course and distance. Nicely placed to score. GRAND FORCE (4) has sound form this time in and turned in an eye-catching run to finish fourth at Scottsville last time. Has found the frame at all four visits to this track, including a win. Will prove tough to beat. BARRY DU GROND (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1000m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. TRAFALGAR SQUARE (8) is better than last couple and will find this easier. Nicely placed to atone.
