LIGHT THE FIRE (7) has produced two good third place finishes to date. He showed pace over this distance at Scottsville last time and stayed on well at the finish. The son of One World returns from an 11-week spell during which time he was gelded. He is a horse with scope and if not too green around the turn, he may be the one to beat. COCCOLINA (5) caught the eye when second on debut over this course and distance last start. She would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should give the males a decent run for their money. MAGIC SURPRISE(1) showed good improvement when third over this distance on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. If confirming his recent improvement, he should be involved at the finish. DEVOTED (3) didn't do a lot on debut three-and-a-half weeks ago, finishing ninth of 10 over 1200m at this track when well supported. Fitter and can place.
