The withdrawal of $1.25 chance TORQUE TO BE SURE has turned this race into a more competitive contest and the lightly raced RUPESTRIS (5) gets his chance. Started favourite when resuming over 1006m here last start but after having every chance could not quicken as required. Needs this sort of trip so he can improve sharply. EVIL LOVER (8) returns from a 44-day let-up and is now in the Sally Taylor stable. Placed six times so she does have talent. Good enough to test this field if forward enough. NOADIAH (9) raced on the speed but weakened here at this trip recently. Fitter for two runs back and might offer more resistance this time. SHARE TRADER (6) is back sharply in distance but is next best in a race that falls right away. Recent trial winner DIRTY DOES IT (3) should come back in much better shape this prep.
