ITALIAN DANCER (2) comes through stronger racing and strips rock-hard fit now. Has a strong association with the 2kg claimer who reunites. With good early toe, expect them to push the button from the wide alley and run them along. WAKU WAKU (6) comes up the highway and while her form has been patchy, her better runs are up to scratch. Has been freshened with a month in between and will appreciate a solid tempo. AWAYGOESTHEBUNNY (4) was beaten as a well-supported favourite in Open company last start but is a track-and-trip winner and has been close enough in recent runs to stay right in the mix. FLYING BAT (1) has consecutive placings on the course proper and will be injecting plenty of speed into the race from the low draw. Apel's 2kg claim gets him in well at the weights and he's another that deserves respect.
