BINGI (11) is the most interesting runner, resuming a gelding after tackling the G2 Queensland Guineas and G1 ATC Australian Derby. Didn't fire a shot in those two but his work leading into that was strong. Has trialled well in readiness and this looks a good kickoff point. Bold showing anticipated. DETRIMENTAL (6) brings the cleanest current form after winning at Beaudesert and just missing last time at Eagle Farm. He looks the safest race-fit option. MOONAN QUARTZ (8) has a strong winning profile at the trip and handles wet ground, though he returns from a freshening after being beaten as one of the main fancies, though the subsequent form has been red-hot. Gets in light with Pozman's 3kg claim and has enough speed to offset the wide draw. Rates a genuine hope. ALDOLFITO (10) is hard to dismiss for exotics after a neck defeat as favourite and gets weight relief. METAPHORICALLY (4) dominated last time and has to be included.
