QUEEN OLYMPIAS (8) displayed blistering pace out of the gates then battled on well to hold second on debut last start over 800m at Ipswich. Sure to derive great benefit from that experience and will prove tough to catch. STORM PETAL (9) has not been sighted since finishing third as favourite on debut over 800m at Ipswich on 6 April. Trialled well here recently and looks a great chance to open the account. HIT A LICK (5) is back after a 20-week spell. Raced twice in the maiden prep and wasn't beaten far on either occasion in Brisbane Saturday company. Two trials leading up to this return should have her forward enough to run a big race. TASSY DEVIL (10) was in the market but found 900m a bit slick on debut at Ipswich last time out. Deserves another chance over a bit more ground. METRIC (6) lines up for the first time since a respectable fourth on debut at Doomben in March. Trialling extra well so a big return looks on the cards.
