JUSTA BARTY (9) was backed from $3.40 into $2.80 on debut in an Eagle Farm Saturday maiden last November but raced greenly and didn't give backers hope at any stage. Trialled well at Doomben recently. Expect a lot more this time around in a far easier assignment. VIDEO VIXEN (15) returned from a spell over 1200m at this track last start and closed well to get up for second. Has had a few chances but looks to be back in great shape. Poses a threat from a nice gate with just 53kgs after the claim. CROKER (8) was in the market when resuming here over 1200m recently but struggled to get involved after a poor start. Has a wide alley to overcome but if things go right he is a major player. BASSETT'S CHOICE (13) failed on a heavy track at Ballina last start - forget that run. Best recent figures stack up nicely so she can bounce back and give this a shake. The lightly raced NINJASK (1) resumes and is capable of testing this field if forward enough.
