Tricky race to kick off the card with all but one of these babies facing the starter for the first time. ITCHINTOGO (1) is the only galloper in the field with race experience but has looked handy in both outings to date. Saluted over this distance range last time out and winning hoop Maloney sticks in the irons. Rates the testing material. The well-related BACIAMI (2) (half to 2xG3 winner Panova) put in a better trial last time and is sure to be well-educated out of the Edmonds barn. Respect any market confidence. DRAGON MAGIC (3) placed in a recent Eagle Farm trial and Rodd stays on top for race day. A strong debut showing would not surprise. WOOTTON YOU KNOW (5) gets gun hoop Williams on board and can feature first time at the races. WRITTEN ACLAIM (6) next in line.

When well in the market at debut, set the pace for much of the race 2nd of 7 at Doomben 2yo Hcp on November 15 over 1200m, on a slow track; 1.5 len behind Zip Lock carrying 59kg at $2.70. Second-up tracked the speed and boxed on steadily; won by a long-neck at Doomben LR Phelan Ready December 6 over 1110m defeating Magritte carrying 57kg at $2.80.
