Siding with the newcomer BAY OF THE SOUTH (4), a mare by Cable Bay for the all-powerful Tony Gollan yard. She represents strong connections and has won both trials leading in to this, the latest quite well. Expecting she takes a lot of beating first time out. AWEIGH (9) trialled behind BAY OF THE SOUTH recently. She's had a few chances to date but has shown glimpses in NSW and can improve for the new yard. FRENCH RIVIERA (17) has come back well and can figure. SIX OF WANDS (19) comes into this first-up and trialled nicely at Deagon late last month. Likely to be better over further, though this presents as a nice kick off point.
