TAKE A BOW (5) brought strong metro form to resumption and just missed this grade at the Sunshine Coast. She draws low and won't have to improve much to take this out. DEFIANT BOOM (1) resumes and is good enough if he's presented on song. Showed plenty early doors but was plain his only run last preparation. Has a handy 2kg claim and went close in a recent trial. JOY A PLENTY (7) was only beaten 1L in the TAKE A BOW race. She races forward and is back to her best. PETITE PALACE (3) can build on the easy 62 win at Beaudesert and she races forward. ZARIPPA (4) resumes for the leading stable and has trialled well. Will be naturally improved and has to be kept very safe. JIMMYINTHEJUNGLE (2) seeks the hat trick third-up. This is harder but he was heavily backed the latest when leading. Keeps getting better.
