ENCOSTA DE MONEY (6) didn't show much on debut when a long way back but was much better last start when closing strongly over 1200m. Now out to 1400m looks perfect and he's expected to improve again third-up into the campaign. Ticks plenty of boxes and can break his maiden today. IL BELLO BEALS (1) has had plenty of chances but ran up to his best last start when only 0.4L off the winner at this track and trip last time out. Riordan's claim comes in handy today and he should get every chance from the good barrier. Can make his presence felt again. LONG WAIT (7) came into his resuming effort without a trial and finished off strongly from midfield under Cheung. He remains in the saddle today and the 2kg claim keeps him down in the weights. Can build on the fresh run and make his presence felt. KALLAHTI (3) wasn't beaten far last time out at this course and distance when flying late. Won't be far away. GILES (2) can put himself into the finish on recent performances.
