Gavea Race 2 - Premio Mensageiro Alado
OVERJOYED (6) is back from a spell of ten weeks. Closed last prep with an eighth over 1000m at this track. Good enough to take this out fresh up. UFARTE (7) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was well beaten over 1600m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Can do better and is worth including in this field. TIO FALCAO (5) finished a battling fifth last time out over 1100m at this track seven weeks ago. Steps up in distance today. Should be prominent from the outset, and be involved in the finish. EVENT SONG (3) ran a better race last time at his second career start when fourth over 1000m at this track. Fitter and looks one of the better chances. UPSETTER (2) is returning from a spell of 9 weeks. Finished fourth at this track over 1300m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Claudio Peixoto De Almeida. Sure to take some beating.
