COMMANDER JOE (8) could only manage sixth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1207m at this track, beaten only a nose after being in contention on the turn. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to figure in the finish. ITS JUST MONEY (2) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when seventh, beaten 16 lengths, over 1308m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. ERNIE'S MARTINI (9) has strung together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on September 2 over 1207m when he scored by a nose. Winning rider Christopher Husbands retains the mount. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. BIG TIME LOUIE (4) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 9 lengths, over 1006m at this track. Must be respected.
