Forbes Race 1 - Bedgerabong Picinic Races Mdn Plate
THE FRISKEE FLASH (7) went forward last time and looked a chance on the corner but weakened to finish sixth over 1400m at Wagga. This offers her a great chance of breaking through. GRAFFI (4) did little and finished ninth over 1500m at Muswellbrook last start after being in contention on the bend, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Scone the run before. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. ONA BIVVY (1) returns from a spell of four months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished eighth at Moe over 1208m when first-up last time in work. Has found a suitable race and is worth including. SOUTH EIGHT (6) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1000m at Dubbo, beaten 7 lengths into seventh. Finds an easier assignment and keep safe.

Returns from a 32-day let-up. Most recently sat behind the speed prior to fading 9th of 11 in a Mdn-Sw at Muswellbrook on September 8 over 1500m, 7 len behind The Prospect with 57kg at $14. Before that got back early 4th of 8 in a Mdn at Scone on August 17 over 1300m, slow going 5 len behind Oakfield Iowa with 56kg at $51. Better than that last run suggests.

Last start ran last in a small field in a Mdn-Sw at Enngonia on September 19 over 1000m, 1.3 len behind Fierce Impulse carrying 57kg at $2.20. The run before that ran last of 10 in a Mdn-Sw at Griffith on September 12 over 1200m, 10 len behind Pippie Pomar carrying 57kg at $91. Wasn't too far off the mark last time. Knocking on the door and is worth including in the multiples.
