PAYNTED BLUE (3) saluted at Delta Downs two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when in the firing line on the corner before finishing second over 1308m at Delta Downs, beaten half a length. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. AXEL STEEL (5) finished a 10 length seventh when resuming last start over 1207m at Tampa Bay Downs (Dirt). Has a very strong second up record. Expected to run well. INDIA INK (8) bounced back last start and landed the prize by 1.75 lengths after being prominent at the turn over 1006m at Delta Downs (Dirt). Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to figure in the finish. UNDER OATH (1) is back at the races for the first time since December 3. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1207m at Arapahoe Park. Among the better hopes.
