Flemington Race 6 - Kia Ora Stud Mile (G2)

BUCKAROO (6) has a bit of bouncing back to do do off a 28L defeat in the G1 Turnbull Stakes. Clearly too bad to be true there, but the first two runs, especially in the G1 Memsie fresh were excellent. Back in grade, drawn ideally and J-Mac on are huge positives for a horse of his ability. SURFIN' BIRD (12) went too steadily fresh before being allowed to roll at speed and bolt in at Caulfield, running slick time. This is tougher but she's unbeaten at a mile and will give a sight. ANOTHER WIL (7) can do better than last time. Like BUCKAROO he has the ability to post top class form and his Makybe Diva run was a hint that he still has plenty to offer. Last year's winner VON HAUKE (1) didn't have the clearest run in the Toorak and can go well.
