Finger Lakes Race 5 - Race 5 - Claiming

FOLLOW YOUR ARROW (6) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 1207m at this track, beaten 0.1 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. BOOK OF WISDOM (7) finished third when resuming two runs back at this track (Dirt) then progressed nicely last time out to score by half a length as public elect over 1106m at this track (Dirt). J Baez scored on her last time and retains the mount. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. SIGNIFYING NOTHING (3) turned in a fine effort to win by 1.5 lengths at today's track and distance when resuming from a break last time out. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. DREAM ON CARA (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1207m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth. Well placed to make amends.

Comes off a 30 day let-up. At the latest run 6th of 9 at this track on September 21 over 1207m, 19 len behind Short Shift carrying 55.5kg at $11.84. The race before that 3rd of 7 at this track on August 25 over 1207m, 5 len behind She's A Freud carrying 56kg at $2.93. Better than that recent lacklustre performance suggests.
