SHELLAC (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 22 lengths when sixth in a 1308m contest at Saratoga three-and-a-half weeks ago. This is a nice drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. PROBABLY FLATTERY (1) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at this track (Dirt) over 1207m, beaten a nose. Cherry-ripe now. Is yet to miss the frame from three starts this campaign, including a win. Expected to feature. FIRST PITCH (4) has not been a factor of late. Two starts back was out of the money over 1609m at Aqueduct. Last time he failed to complete the course at Saratoga. Certainly deserves another chance. VALIANT WARRIOR (5) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1106m at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Fitter so watch for a better performance.
