STRING THEORY (3) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when fifth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1207m at this track (Dirt). This doesn't look as hard so it is sure to be prominent. WEITZMAN (7) really dug deep to salute by 2 lengths three runs back at Louisiana Downs (Dirt) before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Should be poised just off the lead. Leading contender. FLYIN PRIVATE (4) turned in a fine effort to score by 10 lengths at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is good enough to play a major role. GO GET TRAE (8) could only manage eighth on dirt over 1408m at this track two back then couldn't find the top-three on turf over 1509m at Evangeline Downs Turf more recently. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
