MAKI MONARCHY (4) was well fancied on the back of a couple of minor placings but could only manage sixth last start over 1710m at Fairgrounds Turf (Turf). Worth noting Isaac Castillo is the change of rider. Better than that and deserves another chance. THE DONEGAL CLAN (7) has been racing consistently without winning, the latest effort a strong third in a Listed Race at Evangeline Downs on dirt over 1609m. This is his first try on turf.
