HUDSON'S DAY (7) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 1609m at Fairgrounds (Dirt) when he was handy all the way. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. RUNFORJUSTICE (4) turned things around last start and got the job done by 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner over 1207m at Sam Houston Park (Dirt). T G Thornton gets the best out of this three-year-old gelding. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. DOOLGAROUX (11) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1673m at Fairgrounds (Dirt). Strong chance again. MR RONNIE (10) settled well back last time out then found the line strongly to finish 7 lengths away in fourth over 1106m at Fairgrounds (Dirt). Among the chances and will be tough to stop.
