ALKENTER (2) is a five-start maiden who returned last time and finished eighth at Sunshine Coast over 1000m, beaten 5 lengths. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat. RAINSITPOURS (8) failed to figure again last time over 1200m at Goondiwindi, beaten 16 lengths into fifth. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Don't underestimate.
