Likely improver with strong prospects. HANDSOME TICKET (4) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 2 lengths back in fourth over 914m at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt). Well placed and expected to feature. HAWKER (5) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a spell, the latest when sixth over 1207m at Santa Anita (Dirt). Has a strong record at the third run in and is among the leading chances. BARRISTER PROOF (8) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fourth over 1207m at this track, beaten 9 lengths. One of the main hopes.
