THUNDER APPEAL (3) finished 4.5 lengths adrift in sixth when fresh from a layoff last start over 1006m at Churchill Downs Turf (Turf). Was in the placings at his only other second-up run. Well placed to take this out. ZAP D'ETAT (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1408m at Churchill Downs, beaten 19 lengths into eighth. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. GRANDE SORPRESO (8) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 1207m at Churchill Downs after being in the firing line on the bend. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge.
