TARDIS (1) set the pace and revelled in the heavy ground to score an all the way win at Ta Aroha nearly 3 weeks ago. There is more depth to this field, but he has more in store, and he can repeat the dose. FURSTON (2) fought on well enough for third at Whanganui 7-days ago, and has had a busy time of it recently, so he won't lack fitness. A good draw makes him among the hardest to beat in this. INTAN (6) won a trial prior to her debut second here 2 weeks ago. That form will hold up in this, and with added experience, she can go one better in this. CONISTON (4) won a couple of trials last month and is bred to want more ground than 1200m. He is likely to have plenty of market support, and despite his wide gate, he can make an immediate impact on debut. PELLARGO (3) had plenty of trial experience prior to finishing a sound fourth here a fortnight ago. He maps to settle not far off the pace from the pole position, and he has top 4 claims again.
