STELLAGRACIA (10) has plenty of upside after placing on debut at Doomben, where she stayed on well behind a smart winner. The Thompson-Gollan combination reads favourably and she looks a big chance to break through this time. BUTTERCUP (2) finds the maiden win elusive but it certainly hasn't been without trying. She was beaten as a heavily backed favourite second-up at the Sunny Coast, making it consecutive minor placings to kick off the prep. Strips fitter third-up and gets another great opportunity to break through. RECONCILIATE (9) has been close in consecutive thirds, including a wide run when beaten just under a length at Doomben. Should be at her top fourth-up and can give this a shake. DUCHESS DIFFICULT (4) is closely tied to that same Doomben form, having beaten RECONCILIATE home when held up and beaten just under a length, and she is fit enough third-up to turn that near miss into another strong performance.
