ABENDER (2) tackles an easier assignment and should be hitting his straps fourth-up over a trip he relishes. The form around him reads favourably and the low draw should give him a great look. STORMLAND (1) comes through the same last start race where he was too bad to be true. His two runs prior though were up to the mark and if the pace is genuine he can cause a big scare late. KEEP IT REAL (8) brings a different profile. He was held up when beaten a nose two back, then had late interference at Gold Coast. First-time blinkers could give him a genuine spark third-up. EGMONT (13) justified his pretty price tag on debut on the Gold Coast Poly when stretching out nicely in the lane to score with a bit up his sleeve. Gets in light with the rise in grade but has Thompson to pilot. Is another that will relish a genuine tempo so he can launch late.
