Eagle Farm Race 8 - Ladbrokes More On Tote (C6)
SIR WINNIE (9) was only denied by a lip at Toowoomba first-up when firm in the market. Is sure to have come on from that and gets in light again now over a trip he relishes. Bold showing anticipated. NAVAL SEAL (3) is the immediate danger after also narrowly missing last start. Peaking now and reunites with Mallyon, who knows him well. GOLDEN CROSS (1) has to be forgiven for a plain effort in the G3 Cameron Handicap at Newcastle, but his Murwillumbah win prior was strong and his two wins from three at this track and distance keep him right in play. DUSTY BAY (6) is another that heads up the highway and shoulders some solid NSW form, most recently charging hard late in the Dubbo Cup after drawing the car park. Drawn to settle much closer this time and is more than capable at his best. BLUEPINOT (4) is a consistent gelding and made sure he didn't let another one slip at the latest. Always warrants respect.

The run prior was much stronger, winning an Open at Murwillumbah by two and a half lengths from Kairos Louie on soft ground.
