SAMARELLE (8) flashed home fresh under the big weight behind a smart one at Warwick Farm, then relished the mile second-up when scoring with a bit up her sleeve. The rise to 1800m looks perfect for her now and she's the one to beat. BARBRAY (3) is the clear danger after missing by a lip at Toowoomba, having also been held up when favourite two back. Has been low-flying since joining the QLD satellite stable and finds another nice race. MIRRA IMPACT (5) was sound behind BARBRAY at Toowoomba and gets a small swing over him at the weights. The trip remains a query. BECAMO (4) is shooting for the hat-trick and deserves obvious respect.

Picked up late from the rear at Toowoomba in a Benchmark 70 but was still beaten just over five lengths after starting near the top of betting. His Doomben return over 1350m was also midfield at best, though he is third-up now, gets weight relief and has won around 1800m. Thompson's booking adds confidence and he looms a winning hope.
