Eagle Farm Race 4 - Ladbrokes More On Tote Win (Bm78)

LAST COMMAND (1) is perhaps going better than his form reads but finds a nice race to put it all together fourth-up. Likes the track and trip and is drawn perfectly. Bold showing anticipated. KAIROS LOUIE (8) has been freshened with 43 days after making an encouraging return at Murwillumbah. Is yet to strike second-up but boasts a good record over this course and distance and gets the key booking of Thompson, so must take seriously. LIBERTY PARK (4) picked straight back up from where he left off last prep, arriving just in time to score at a big price at Doomben. Form around him stacks right up but he is meeting LAST COMMAND worse at the weights this time, which could prove decisive. JUST IN TIME (7) brings solid Sydney form and is rock-hard fit now. Maloney's booking is a good push; suspect he'll roll forward on the mare and have her handy. BLAZEN BOOTS (3) has gone better than the form guide reads in his two runs back. Gets in well with the 3kg claim and is in the mix third-up.

Had excuses when sixth to Liberty Park at Doomben last start, beaten a length and a half after being held up from the 150m before picking up nicely late. The start prior in Benchmark 85 grade at this track was also better than the bare result after he jumped awkwardly and covered ground. With the claim, he looks the horse to beat.
