Eagle Farm Race 6 - Seven Dalrello Stakes (L)
THE NEXT EPISODE (3) was crunched in the betting last start in the Kindergarten Stakes at Randwick and was a painful watch for backers. Missed the kick by four lengths then tacked on, threaded his way through, and missed narrowly. Big subsequent trial winner. Wide gate the only slight concern. BOOMTOWNS (4) has not raced since defying a massive market drift to score narrowly on debut over this course and distance nine weeks ago. Awkwardly drawn but with luck can feature again. LUCKY PAT (5) brings a two-for-two record to the race, both successes coming over 800m at Ipswich. Different kettle of fish today but he is hard to fault. DREAM ROCA (7) is first-up since winning the Karaka Millions over 1200m at Ellerslie NZ in January. Very smart and with luck from the draw can play a major role. SEEIAYE (2) has been gelded since showing pace but weakening in the Wyong Classic in December. Trialling well and might be ready to show his best now.
