Another tricky contest and the betting will be instructive. STELLER EAGLE (7) resumed a much-improved galloper beaten a nose at Toowoomba. She will be better for that and Callow is a key jockey booking replacing the 3kg apprentice. Positions on the speed and can go one better. THROWIN SHADE (4) won a trial on the turf and missed a whisker on the poly on debut. He runs along and has a handy 3kg claim. Fitter and expect him to give a sight. TRAPEZE ALERT (10) and ASHANKO (1) are both debutants who profile well. The former is in the premier barn and his latest trial here was good. Scratched from the previous race. The latter has also trialled well and Rodd's booking is a positive. DIBBA DOBBA (6) went close at the Sunshine Coast and is still well shy of her peaks Has a wide gate but deserves consideration.
