Dundalk Race 4 - Irish Ebf Fillies Mdn (Smullen Series)
With the benefit of previous racecourse experience GOLDEN RING (3) can land this maiden contest. Solid 4L third at Cork over 1400m last month and now tested attempting the extra journey. Expected to figure prominently. Stable companion SOMEBODY LOVES ME (6) makes plenty of paper appeal first up. By Frankel and related to Group winners. Serious claims. ALARAZA (1) is a New Bay filly representing the Dermot Weld stable. The dam was pretty smart and should know her job on this opening run. STATE OF CLARITY (7) was an expensive purchase as a yearling. By State of Rest for the Jessie Harrington team. Watch the market.

Was as a despised roughie at debut, 9th of 16 at Gowran Park on September 1 over 1408m, 13 len behind Curracloe carrying 58kg at $151. Poorly drawn and prepared to overlook.
