This could prove a highly informative beginners chase. BALLYFAD (2) makes most appeal as one of a quartet for Gordon Elliott. Placed twice in G1 novice hurdles at the big festivals last term and may stamp his authority over the larger obstacles. MATIN MIDI ET SOIR (14) was a G3 winner hurdling for his previous yard in France. Disappointed when backed into favouritism on sole outing for this yard. More can be expected.
