FLEETWOOD (3) is desperate to break through after placing in his last four. Steps back out to a trip he relishes on the short turnaround and gets in light with Hampson's 3kg claim. The wide draw is the only query. His stablemate NOW IS THE HOUR (10) returns and has his share of ability. Gets in very light at the weights and has enough pace to offset the sticky draw. His recent trial suggests he's ready to fire fresh. ABOUT TO EXPLODE (2) is another handy gelding from the Gollan camp and resumes with strong stakes form around him, having been beaten just over a length in the G3 WJ Healy Stakes after a Listed Hinkler Quality placing. Has been fitted with a trial win here and reunites with Thompson. Sure to be very competitive. STREET CHASE (11) just missed here first-up and gets significant weight relief a month between runs. Up to this. POWER OF THE BRAVE (6) will be hoping the early pace is strong so he can launch a late assault.
