Doomben Race 3 - Ticketmaster Bill Carter Stakes (L)
LA BARRITA (11) started favourite on debut over 1000m at Warwick Farm last start and made a big impression, getting up for third after spotting the leaders a huge start. Ideally placed out to this distance and with some natural improvement she can take this out. I AM DIRTY (1) stalked the leader then lengthened nicely to win with plenty in hand over 1200m at Gosford last time out. Further progress to come over this trip. Worth following. AURIC STAR (4) came from next to last to get up for second in the Listed Calaway Gal on a heavy track at Eagle Farm four weeks ago. Should relish getting to today's journey judging by that run, and we know she'll handle the going. FEARLESS WIN (2) disappointed last start in the Calaway Gal but can improve with the blinkers going on. KATOTO (5) takes a big leap from a narrow Kembla maiden win on 29 April but it is Waller/McDonald so there will be plenty of market interest.
